The Demo
Before: The goal was to remove the original 1950's cast iron tub and create a shower. There is a soffit over the toilet which is being removed as well as the cabinet in the corner to make the bathroom feel larger. We are also going to add insulation to the walls as this side of the house gets lots of sun.

This 1923 house is a complete remodel. The customer wants to retain the traditional charm of the house yet update it with modern features. Scroll down to the work progression and the before pictures.

Oh so close to the finish!!
The custom cabinets are getting their final coat of color and are mostly installed. Light fixtures are being installed. Floors are stained and glossed. In a few more weeks the clients are moving in.
Scaffolding is down!!
New Anderson windows have been installed and scaffolding has been removed. Solar panels are also up on the roof. New brick work has been done in the front, including a new brick walkway. Cabinets have been delivered and installation and painting is under way. Tile is complete in the bathrooms, and moulding is being installed around some of the windows and baseboards. Original hard wood floors have been sanding and will be stained and glossed soon! It's really coming together nicely!
We are in the final stages!!
New roof is on awaiting solar panels. Color coating has been applied to new smooth stucco exterior walls. New drywall has been installed throughout the interior. Smooth plaster skim coat has been applied to all walls throughout the house giving the walls a nice, even texture. Tile is being installed in both upstairs bathrooms and color paint samples are up on the walls. Base cabinet in dining room is installed and floors have been sanded in kitchen. *still awaiting the very delayed arrival of the windows. Lots of trees and landscaping has been removed to make way for the new backyard space. Pool frame has gunite. Things are moving along…
More exterior work and continued framing inside.
Here you can see the progress on the exterior walls. In the inside, more electrical work is happening along with continued framing in the kitchen, master bedroom and both bathrooms. The dividing wall that separated the master bedroom from another bedroom is gone making way for a really nice master bedroom. The kitchen is getting ready for insulation and drywall.

House is currently being sandblasted and a new roof is being installed. On the inside, plumbing work and electrical are taking place throughout. Some walls have been removed to open the space up and the bathrooms have been completely gutted.
